Francis Family YMCA Volunteers Seek to Raise $100,000 during Annual Scholarship Campaign
Funds raised will be used to assist South Monroe County residents with vital services

For over nine years, the Francis Family YMCA has supported local families and individuals in good times as well as some of the most challenging economic periods. The YMCA has been able to do so because of the generous support from members of the community through contributions to its Annual Scholarship Campaign.

During the 2010 Annual Scholarship Campaign, which officially begins on February 1, Francis Family YMCA volunteers will seek to raise over $100,000 for the South Monroe County community. Jennifer Fischer, of Fischer Tool and Die, will chair the campaign, and Gary Harrell, of Graphic Signs, will be the co-chair. According to Ms. Fischer, "This campaign helps our friends, neighbors and complete strangers. I don't know of many campaigns that 100% of the funds raised stay in our community. This is about helping our community." Read more>
