Free Summer Camp for Military Kids
The National Military Famiy Association's Operation Purple camps offer a free week of fun for military kids with parents who have been, are currently, or will be deployed. Operation Purple will be held at YMCA Storer Camps from June 20-26, 2010. To register, visit www.militaryfamily.org.

Expanded Hours - at the Morse Center
To better serve the community, students and faculty, the South YMCA at the Morse Center has expanded hours. The new hours of operation are: Monday - Friday, 5:15 am - 9 pm; Saturday, 6 am - 6 pm; and Sunday, 1 - 4 pm.


YMCA/JCC TO PROVIDE FREE MEMBERSHIPS TO ELIGIBLE MILITARY FAMILIES
As part of the new Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Outreach Initiative, the YMCA and JCC of Greater Toledo will provide military families with access to youth development, family strengthening, and health and well-being programs at community YMCAs nationwide.  Membership fees will be underwritten by the DoD and administered through Military OneSource, an information and referral service for military families.

Free Respite Child Care for Military Families
In a continued effort to meet the growing needs of military service members, the YMCA and JCC of Greater Toledo will provide respite child care services to deployed National Guard/Reservists and select military personnel. Underwritten by the Department of Defense (DoD), respite child care services are designed to provide licensed child care for children of deployed military personnel. More>>

Silver Sneakers ® Fitness Program
The Silver Sneakers ® Fitness Program is a national exercise program designed exclusively for older adults and offered to Medicare-eligible members. YMCA/JCC offers the SilverSneakers ® Fitness program to eligible members of Anthem BCBS and Humana health plans. For eligibility, contact your insurance provider.
