Scout Development Program
Wolf Creek YMCA is offering the opportunity to earn badges and achievement awards for Scouts. This is a wonderful and helpful resource for leaders looking for help with various achievement goals for their Scouts. Our mission, along with the Scouts, is the development of the youth in our community. At Wolf Creek YMCA, we are excited and focused on the development of our core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith in the youth of our community. Scouts will achieve these core values while gaining self-confidence and learning important life skills.
Our experienced instructors will create a custom program for the completion of many requirements to meet the needs of your troop. A few of the badge and achievement areas that are available to your Scout troop include:
Water skills, Canoeing, Water Safety, Sports, Healthy Cooking, Crafts, Sports, Birds Habitat Study, Map & Compass Tracking, Dance, Fine Arts, Fitness, Wetlands Exploration, Outdoor Skills, Anti-Bullying, Theater, Living Skills, Community Character and Service Projects
We would be happy to discuss the needs of your troop. We will provide the supplies, equipment, facility and staff for each requirement session. The fee will be based on the supplies needed, amount of staff required, and duration of the session(s) -- as some may require a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks to complete. We strive to keep costs affordable for your Scouts.
