Arts and Humanities
Our YMCA and JCC arts programs promote creativity through dance, drawing, drama, cooking, music and more.
While the YMCA is traditionally known as a place to learn how to swim or practice your jump shot, YMCAs are rapidly becoming the place where kids and adults learn to paint, write, sing or act. Many of our local YMCAs offer programs in arts, including dance, drawing, drama, cooking, music and more. These programs offer a creative outlet that kids and adults crave and require for a balanced life.
