South Toledo YMCA Update

Since September, the YMCA of Greater Toledo, in partnership with community representatives, has conducted a membership campaign for the South Toledo YMCA.  The goal was to sell enough memberships to close the budget deficit at the South Toledo Y and allow the building to remain open until a new facility is built.

We appreciate everyone's hard work in the endeavor. Despite these efforts, the campaign fell short of our goal. The South Toledo YMCA facility will close on Monday, December 21, 2009.

While we understand this is a sad day for many people in our neighborhood, the YMCA is committed to a strong YMCA presence in South Toledo. More details...
