Each day will have a different theme and interactive activity. We will have visitors from local organizations share their expertise.

PRINCESS CAMP

Let your imagination fly in this whimsical craft class perfect for your little princess. Children are welcome to dress as their favorite princess.

DINO CAMP 
June 17-21
We will enjoy an historic adventure thru the Ice Age as we learn of large lizards and feathered friends, go on a dinosaur egg hunt, dinosaur egg stomp, learn the dino whip, and make fossils. 

JUST FOR GIRLS
June 24-28
Little girls will enjoy a week full of pampering! Painting nails, creating friendship bracelets, yoga and more.

PIRATES AND PARROTS
July 15-19
Argh YMCA mateys! Come walk the plank onto me pirate ship! Have some swashbuckling pirate fun with a Canon ball toss, stranded island obstacle course, crocodile hunt and more. Send a message in a bottle, try your hand (or hook) at sand art, and become a Captain Hook look alike.

SUPER HEROES
June 10-14
Kids will learn how to dress, eat and be powerful just like their favorite superhero. Games, crafts and fun activities.

SPACE STATION VACATION

A week of wonders and adventures of Space: Space activities, group games, sports & fitness activities, hands-on science activities, arts & crafts, and music.

TENNIS CAMP
June 4-6
Get ready to develop and practice the skills necessary for tennis! Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, team work, correlative play and a love of recreation sports.

FLAG FOOTBALL CAMP
June 11-13
Down, set, hut! Get ready to develop and practice the skills necessary for flag football. Participants will learn to pass, receive, run effective routes, and defend. Games and scrimmages will take place throughout camp. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, team work, correlative play and a love of recreation sports.

BASEBALL CAMP
June 18-20
Come and learn the fundamentals of America's pastime! The camp is designed to teach each tool of baseball including hitting, base-running, fielding and pitching. Games and scrimmages will take place throughout camp. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, team work, correlative play and a love of recreation sports.

JR. CAVS BASKETBALL CAMP (Ages 3-5)
June 18-20
The Jr. Cavs Basketball Camp offers kids the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball by developing their ability to dribble, pass, rebound and shoot. This camp consists of drills and stations instructed by a mater coach, whom has expertise in skill development. Your camper will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, team work, correlative play and a love of recreation sports.

JR. CAVS GIRL'S BASKETBALL CAMP (Ages 6-9)
June 25-27 from 5:30-7pm

SOCCER CAMP

Coach Ian Graham will work on skill development, foot skills, goalie techniques and speed drills to improve our future soccer stars.

VOLLEYBALL CAMP
June 16-18
Come learn the fundamentals of volleyball the will be taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting, and serving. Participants will develop a good sense of teamwork and respect for their teammates. Your campers will have a chance to develop their skills in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, cooperative play and a love of recreation sports.

JR. CAVS BASKETBALL CAMP (Ages 10-14)
July 30-August from 9:30am-11am

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CAMP
August 6-8
Three days of outdoor fun and excitement! Come learn camping skills like building a campfire, setting up a tent, and reading a compass. We will also have some traditional camp activities like capture the flag, ultimate frisbee, and scavenger hunts. S'mores included.

SKY ZONE

Are you ready for an afternoon of fun at Toledo's trampoline park? Sky Zone offers a variety of trampoline activities including dodgeball, volleyball, and a foam pit. Don't forget your SkySocks. SkySocks are $2 for those who do not have a pair. Cost include transportation and 60 minute jump pass at Sky Zone.

MORNING MADNESS
June 26 from 9am-11am
Monday Madness Day will focus on non-traditional sports and other activities. Games could include capture the flag, dodgeball, and ultimate frisbee. Come have fun while trying new and different activities!

FIELD DAY

Participate in end of school classics: Egg and Spoon Relay Race, Water Balloon Toss, and 3-Legged Races!

WATERWORLD
June 17
Want to cool off on a hot summer day? Waterworld is a fun-filled day where campers will enjoy water balloon battles, slipping' slides and additional water activities!

LASER TAG
July 24
Looking fir something different late in the summer? Join us for an afternoon of laser tag! Cost includes transportation and laser tag.

TEEN CAMPS AND COURSES

BABYSITTING CAMP (AGES 11-16)
June 3 and June 10 or July 11 and 18 from 8am-1pm
The babysitting camp is a 2 day course that helps students learn how to babysit while providing a safe, encouraging environment while having fun and providing the best care while babysitting. 

The goal of this program is to provide learners a valuable and enjoyable experience. This purpose is to help the participant better understand as meet the challenges of babysitting by building confidence and skill.

What will be the potential babysitter learn? They will learn:

  • Respond to emergencies with first aid and child/infant CPR Skills
  • Make good decisions under pressure
  • Communicate effectively with parents
  • Recognize safety hygiene issues
  • Manage young children
  • Feed, diaper and care for infants

Course Cost: $80 for Members and $120 for Program Participants

Bring a sack lunch.

Cost includes babysitting book and CPR rescue mask.

JUNIOR LIFEGUARD COURSE (Ages 12-15)
May 29-June 26 (Wednesdays for 5 weeks) from 10am-2pm, August 5-9 from 10am-2pm 
Bring lunch, bathing suit, and towel. 

The participant will learn how to assist a lifeguard in an emergency on land and in the water. Through the course learn in water rescue skills have hands on experience with first aid, CPR, and O2 equipment. If you have a dream of wanting to become a future lifeguard this is the program to get a head start. The class will be mentored with the on staff lifeguards as the are on duty. The junior lifeguard will get behind the scene and first hand what it takes to be a lifeguard.

Certification upon course completion:

  • YMCA Water Assistant Instructor 2 year (*only 14 and 15 years old will qualify for certification)
  • 1 year CPR
  • 2 years first aid
  • 2 years Oxygen
  • A rescue mask

Course Cost: $100 for Members
