YMCA Storer Camps offers educational programs, character development and team building services to youth and adults through our three core programs: Outdoor Environmental Education, Summer Overnight Camp, and Family Programs & Group Retreats. Located in southeast Michigan on 1,200 acres surrounding Stony Lake, our 15 unique ecosystems provide a natural learning environment for campers, students, teachers and families year round. 

Programs Offered

Summer Overnight Camp

Summer Overnight Camp programs serve boys and girls ages 7-17. Campers gain self-esteem and confidence by challenging themselves with a wide variety of activities including sailing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, high ropes course, climbing tower, arts and crafts, disc golf, target or team sports and much more. Campers also enjoy nature hikes, campfires, and making new friends, all while learning to succeed in a community environment.

The Storer Outdoor School

The Storer Outdoor School is a hands-on, total immersion learning center serving more than 10,000 students and teachers each year. We offer courses that teach natural and environmental sciences, cultural history, and team building through active participation.

Groups & Families 

YMCA Storer camps offers specialty group and family opportunities for  church retreats, youth sports events, family camps, environmental groups, girl scouts and much more. YMCA Storer Camps also provides a unique camping experience for children with cancer or in remission from cancer, once a year, called Camp Catch-A-Rainbow.
